Fried Corn Meal Mush 3 cups yellow corn 2 quarts boiling water 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup white flour Bring water to a boil. Mix together corn meal, white flour, and salt. Slowly add dry ingredients to boiling water, stirring constantly to remove lumps. When well blended, cover and cook slowly for 1 hour. Put into flat pans to mold. Set in refrigerator to cool throughly. Cut into slices 1/4 inch thick anf fry on griddle until golden brown on both sides. Delicious with maple syrup or apple butter.
