Old fashioned Bean Soup
1 1/2 cup navy bean
salt and pepper
3 cups toasted bread cubes
2 quarts milk
3 tbls butter
1/4 cup cream
Soak beans and cook until soft. Drain the beans. Add milk and butter and salt and pepper. Bring to a boil: and just before serving add cream and pour over bread cubes. Serves 8
