Vegetable #1

Beets in Orange Sauce

1 lb cooked sliced beets
1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
3 Tbsp firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tbsp butter

Throughly drain beets.

In saucepan combine conrstarch, salt, and brown sugar. Gradually and orange juice. Add butter. Cook stirring constantly until thickened and clear.

Add beets. Heat throughly.

makes 4 serving.
